If you are looking for bikes for you or your children, you must create an account. After you register, we will contact you if you are selected to be able to receive a bike. If selected, you will be invited to our bike fitting and selection event on June 12th.
Since 2006, the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office has partnered with local organizations and to make bicycles available to children and adults in need through the Sheriff’s Re-CYCLE for Kids program. With indoor activities limited for children because of Covid 19, access to outdoor recreation like bicycle riding is needed now more than ever. We need your help!
Create an account to save your information. Accounts can be made for individuals or organizations and allows you to tell us what bike you are donated, schedule a drop off appointment, see previous bikes you have donated, and download donation records.
Fill out basic information and submit photos of the bicycle(s) you or your organization will be donating. You will also be able to select a dropoff location and timeslot from available times so we know to expect you!
Once your bike donation form is approved by one of our staff, you will receive your digital donation confirmation via email. This email serves as your confirmation for your dropoff location, date and time.
On the date and time you selected, bring the bicycle(s) to the location you selected. Your donation will be recorded by one of our volunteers and staff, and proof of your donation will be emailed to you for your records and tax deductions.
